Bio-Ops was founded in 2001 by Al Swarts, who has more than 30 years of experience planning and directing commercial operations for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. As someone intimately involved in the rapid growth of the life science industry, Al recognized the value of providing industry focused expertise that could help companies plan, design, and implement more effective and efficient product launches and ongoing commercial operations.

With this in mind, Al developed a consistent methodology for the planning, execution, and control of operational processes. Today, Bio-Ops is known as a life-science focused consulting company with specialty services ranging from the creation and implementation of comprehensive product launch-to-mainstream commercialization action plans to filling in operational gaps with qualified staff.
